Baked Artichokes

Ingredients

Artichokes
-
Olive oil
-
Salt and pepper
-
Cooking spray
-
Butter
-
Garlic
-
Lemons
-
Chives
-
Fresh Parsley
Instruction​
-
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
-
Cut the stems off each artichoke
-
Cut off the top 1/3 of the artichoke, snipping the pointy piece of each of the lower leaves
-
Cut the artichoke in half from top to bottom
-
Brush the entire artichoke in olive oil
-
Season with salt and pepper
-
Line a baking tray with foil and spray with cooking oil
-
Place artichokes on the tray with openings face up
-
Bake for 30-50 minutes
-
While baking, create a butter sauce by mixing:
-
melted butter
-
minced garlic
-
lemon juice
-
chopped chives
-
chopped fresh parsley
