Baked Oysters

Ingredients

  • Oysters

  • Lemon or lime

  • Salt and pepper

  • Hot sauce

  • Cocktail sauce

Instruction​

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees

  • Scrub sand off of each oyster with a toothbrush or clean dish scrubber

  • Place oysters on the tray oriented with the deep cup side on the bottom to hold in the juices

  • Bake 7-12 minutes

  • Use a butter knife to crack open the shells

  • Serve with the following condiments

    • lime or lemon wedges

    • salt and pepper

    • hot sauce

    • cocktail sauce
