Baked Oysters

Ingredients

Oysters
-
Lemon or lime
-
Salt and pepper
-
Hot sauce
-
Cocktail sauce
Instruction​
-
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
-
Scrub sand off of each oyster with a toothbrush or clean dish scrubber
-
Place oysters on the tray oriented with the deep cup side on the bottom to hold in the juices
-
Bake 7-12 minutes
-
Use a butter knife to crack open the shells
-
Serve with the following condiments
-
lime or lemon wedges
-
salt and pepper
-
hot sauce
-
cocktail sauce
