Poached Fish

Ingredients

Any fish

Garlic
-
Lemon
-
Bay leaves
-
Salt and pepper
-
Parsley
Instruction​
-
In a deep pan, fill half way with water and bring to a boil
-
Reduce heat to steam
-
Add to the water:
-
whole garlic cloves
-
circle lemon slices
-
bay leaves
-
salt and pepper (season very generously)
-
-
Add the fish to the pan skin side down and put on the lid
-
It's done when it's done. Depends on the fish. Figure it out.

Serve topped with:
-
lemon zest
-
fresh parsley
