Stuffed Shells

Ingredients

  • Jumbo shell pasta (You can also use Manicotti)

  • 16 oz ricotta cheese

  • 2 eggs

  • Parsley

  • Garlic

  • Marinara Sauce

  • Buffalo Mozzarella

  • Panko crumbs

  • Parmesan

Instruction​

  • In salted, boiling water, cook pasta el dente, then drain

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  • In a mixing bowl, combine:

    • 16 oz ricotta cheese 

    • (Click on the button below for my Ricotta recipe)

    • 2 eggs

    • fresh parsley

    • garlic

  • Spread marinara sauce on the bottom of a deep baking dish

    • Click on the button below for my Marinara Sauce recipe

  • Stuff each shell or manicotti with the cheese mixture and lay in dish open side up

  • Add more marinara sauce over the top

  • Bake for 30 minutes

  • Top the dish with blobs of buffalo mozzarella and a combination of panko bread crumbs and grated Parmesan

  • Bake an additional 15 minutes

  • Let rest to thicken

  • Garnish with parsley
