Tea Couscous

Ingredients

Couscous
-
Teabag
-
Salt and pepper
-
Lemon
-
Optional: Almonds, chickpeas, spinach, and/or mushrooms
Instruction​
-
Boil a kettle of water or boil broth of your choosing
-
Pour couscous into a bowl and season with salt and pepper
-
Top with lemon slices and a teabag
-
Optionally include:
-
almonds
-
chickpeas
-
spinach
-
mushrooms
-
-
Pour liquid into the bowl until it fills 1 inch above the top of the couscous
-
Cover the bowl with a plate and let sit until the liquid is absorbed
-
Fluff with a fork and serve
