Tea Couscous

Ingredients

  • Couscous

  • Teabag

  • Salt and pepper

  • Lemon

  • Optional: Almonds, chickpeas, spinach, and/or mushrooms

Instruction​

  • Boil a kettle of water or boil broth of your choosing

  • Pour couscous into a bowl and season with salt and pepper

  • Top with lemon slices and a teabag

  • Optionally include:

    • almonds

    • chickpeas

    • spinach

    • mushrooms

  • Pour liquid into the bowl until it fills 1 inch above the top of the couscous

  • Cover the bowl with a plate and let sit until the liquid is absorbed

  • Fluff with a fork and serve
